This is an exciting new role in a rapidly expanding business with an excellent reputation for manufacturing and supplying top quality branded products and services in the kitchen industry. Sales are made through a national network of independent retailers and store groups, and our client is looking to take an already highly-motivated Sales and Marketing Team to a level of world-class professionalism.
Reporting directly to the MD, and sitting on the Board, your challenge will be to take your already proven ability to provide strong "hands-on" leadership to the Sales Team, whilst ensuring that the Marketing Team increase market share of the existing portfolio and also optimise the substantial new product and market opportunities. You will have the strategic vision to fit all of this dynamic activity within coherent 5 year and annual plans for the business, and you will relish maintaining this competitive advantage based on market intelligence and deep regular customer contact.
The role requires significant demonstrable track record of exceptional Sales and Marketing leadership capability in high unit value consumer sales, achieved through well-structured organisation, goal-setting, coaching and performance monitoring. The successful candidate will flourish in a collaborative team environment, and will be looking for a long-term career in a stable, progressive, high calibre company which values loyalty, commitment and enthusiasm very highly.
