The client, a unique vibrant organisation, designs and delivers personalised, exercise-based programmes for a defined population with a particular range of learning needs. Reinforced by a scientific heritage and brand recognition, this community interest company has recently embarked on a major course of growth and expansion. As Head of Education, your appointment will be a cornerstone of their future education sector strategy where the challenges will be substantial and rewarding. This is a full remit where, in addition to providing a leading voice as their education sector ‘guru’, you will be responsible for managing all operational, people and commercial activities relating to the sale, delivery and development of their education sector product range. A key aspect will entail developing the company’s position in the field of learning difficulties by working closely with the sales and marketing team to create sales strategies and opportunities, establishing long-term relationships with schools and local education authorities, collaborating in the design and delivery of research projects and, importantly, representing the company at meetings with Government and other influential bodies.
Reporting to the Managing Director and part of the management team, you will play an active role in the development of the company as a whole as well as providing leadership to a small, professional support team.
