With significant new market potential and a desire for future expansion a high calibre Sales Director is required to drive sales to the next level.
Reporting to the MD the Sales and Marketing Director will take full P&L responsibility for the growth and development of these functions. Your key challenge will be to maximise sales and enhance margin, with a particular emphasis on the identification of new product and market opportunities. Along with providing inspirational leadership and direction to a well established and highly skilled team, you will source new products on a global basis that are compatible with the company’s existing portfolio, initiating and executing strategies to bring these products to market.
The client is looking for an accomplished Sales Director / Manager, with a strong background in the commercial vehicle sector. Possessing a real flair for the implementation of new market development, the Sales and Marketing Director will have a track record of achieving first class results in the UK and Ireland commercial vehicle/trailer/parts marketplace. Along with your heavy commercial vehicle/trailer exposure, experience of the light commercial vehicle arena, materials handling, forklift, caravan, trailers (light, agricultural, semi-, drawbar etc) – would be a particular advantage. By character you will be a collaborative and proactive team player using your excellent relationship building qualities to win the hearts and minds of your staff, colleagues, customers and suppliers alike. You will possess a sharp business mind, a positive approach and the self motivation to produce results in this tough and competitive marketplace. Above all you will set high standards, be goal orientated and have well developed commercial and financial awareness.
