2. Regional Opportunities…
We are also looking to build our presence in certain key strategic regions ie Ireland, Scotland and Wales. This is a different type of opportunity requiring an individual with the maturity, drive, ambition and credibility to develop our business further within one of these regions. For example, in Ireland we have a good track record with a number of excellent clients but would like a stronger presence there and would like to identify an individual who could perhaps work from a virtual or a home based office situation covering Ireland and developing our business throughout Ireland. The objective being to build a business within a three year period which has an established successful team operating from an office in a major city such as Dublin or another appropriate location. Equally, we are interested to do this in Scotland and Wales.
We are interested to talk to experienced business professionals, ideally with a track record in recruitment who are possibly frustrated with their existing situation, would like an opportunity to really express themselves, build something from scratch and participate in the success of that from a profit share point of view going forward. This is a real opportunity for somebody to develop our brand in a large area and take significant responsibility and a strong position in our company. We may consider people outside of recruitment, provided they have got an excellent network of contacts and can convince us that their business development skills, business acumen, commerciality and commitment to quality will achieve success.
These are ideal opportunities for highly motivated people who are business aware and would like to develop a career in executive recruitment. The starting point as a researcher is working as part of a team identifying senior level candidates for significant recruitment projects. You will need to have had some commercial experience in either sales, telesales, or marketing and have an outgoing business like personality with excellent communication, business analysis and research skills. The workload is varied across a broad cross section of clients and supporting a number of senior consultants and directors.

Business Development Specialists
One of the important roles within our business is to develop new client relationships and a key part of the process of developing a new client is to win face-to-face appointments with them in order to present our business proposition to them. This is a very skilled job requiring extremely well defined inter-personal skills, a superb capability with the telephone, business awareness, maturity and unrivalled persistence combined with diplomacy. We are looking for an experienced business developer who will win appointments for our consultants through a process of mailshotting and canvassing for appointments and it would suit a highly articulate, communicative individual who has at some stage in their career developed a successful track record in telesales and would like to broaden out into a more demanding arena involving B2B selling. There is also an opportunity to grow in the role, as this is a developing function within the company.
